Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Where to Next app and website, operated by Solver Works Limited (“we,” “our,” “us”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the app, and old enough to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

2. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create (such as saved places, collections, reviews, and offers). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, and process that content as needed to operate and improve the service. This licence includes processing your content through automated and third-party AI systems (see Section 4), and sharing content you choose to make public or send to other users. When you make a collection public, or when you save a set of places from a shared post, that content may be shown to other users and may be included in app-curated public collections. Content you have shared publicly or that has become part of the shared catalogue may remain visible after you delete it or your account (see Section 11).

3. Imported and Third-Party Content

The app helps you save places referenced in content from third parties such as Instagram, TikTok, and Google Maps. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import and use any content you submit, and you must not import content that infringes another person’s rights or breaks the terms of the platform it came from. Place information is provided “as is” and may be incomplete or inaccurate; always verify details (such as opening hours, prices, and offers) before relying on them.

4. AI-Generated and Automated Content

To identify and describe places, the app uses automated systems and third-party artificial intelligence services. Places are identified from the content you share, and some information is generated automatically (such as suggested categories, collection titles, and the details of offers and deals). This automatically produced information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. It is provided for convenience only, is not professional, legal, safety, or commercial advice, and should be independently verified before you rely on it. You do not prompt or converse with these systems; they run in the background on the content you choose to import. See our Privacy Policy for how AI transparency applies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by: breaking the law; infringing others’ rights; uploading harmful, abusive, misleading, or unlawful content; impersonating others; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service; or scraping, overloading, or otherwise abusing our systems or the third-party services we rely on.

6. Reporting and Takedowns

You can report a place or content in the app if you believe it is inaccurate, inappropriate, or infringes your rights. If you are a rights holder submitting a takedown request, you may be asked to confirm your role, affirm the accuracy of your complaint, and provide a signature. We review reports and may remove or restrict content, or take other action, at our discretion, and we may contact you for more information.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

A paid subscription (“Pro”) increases your monthly allowance for importing places (see Section 8). Subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

8. Free Tier and Limits

Saving and browsing places is free and unlimited. Importing places from shared links has a monthly allowance on the free tier; Pro removes the standard allowance. We may change limits or features over time, but we will not reduce features you have already paid for during your current subscription period.

9. Availability and Changes

The service is in active development (including beta releases) and is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend or discontinue the service, at any time.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on place information, AI-generated content, or other information in the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Termination and Account Deletion

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from within the app; deleting your account removes your profile and private account information. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. As noted in Section 2, content you have made public or contributed to the shared catalogue may remain visible after your account is deleted.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms in the app or on our website. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where your local consumer law gives you other mandatory rights.
